A woman called Lisa Royle found out some horrifying news while she was browsing through popular social media platforms.This woman (42), decided to click on a link dedicated to breast cancer shared by one of her friends. All of a sudden, Lisa became curious and scared.This links, found and shared on one of the popular social media platforms included a story of a mid-aged woman who found out that she is suffering from breast cancer when she discovered a relatively small dimple on one of her breasts.
That’s when Lisa performed the same examination and sadly, she also discovered a dimple like the one described in the article.
Since she didn’t want to risk anything, she visited her doctor’s office so she can find out what was really going on. In order to get precise results she got biopsy and the results were shocking – she was suffering from breast cancer.
Even though she was still shocked, Lisa wanted to warn other women and she shared a photo of the affected area and warned other women to be careful. This is not a well-known symptom of breast cancer.
According to Lisa, she never believed that she will share a photo of her breast on social media, but she wanted to show it before it gets removed.
She also pointed out that she found small dimples that were barely visible beneath the breast. It is very easy to miss these dimples because as we all known modern men and women are always in a hurry. So, Lisa urged all women to perform this brief examination because this practice can save their breasts and lives.
In order to avoid situations like this, regular medical examination is a must. Lisa said that she skipped these checkups and if it wasn’t for this shared story on Facebook she could’ve died as a result of this disease.
