TOXIC Overload!
Take This Short Quiz To Determine Your Body Toxicity Risk

If we list some extra delicious food what it will be? Strawberry, sweets, cakes, cheese, milk. Milk? What type of milk? Maybe cow’s, goat’s or for example cockroach’s milk? Can you imagine trying some cookies and milk of that disgusting insect?

It may feel you disgusted, but this type of milk may be the next super-food. Why we wouldn’t put some of the cockroach’s milk on our cake?

What Do We Know About it?

The cockroaches lay eggs, but one type, The Pacific beetle cockroach delivers live young. They feed the offspring with food containing protein crystals which they produce. The liquid is rich in fats, proteins, and sugars. According to the substances, the liquid is called cockroach milk.

It was always believed that the offspring digest the milk but according to the zoologist Barbara Stay, these crystals were pushed inside the embryos with what they fed. A Scientist from the same institute, Subramanian Ramaswamy claims that they did not believe that those crystals were in fact crystals with protein.

However, this type of cockroach milk according to its highly caloric and nutritious properties is among the best types of milk on earth. Its crystals contain three times more energy than the buffalo’s milk as well as four times more amino acids and nutritious properties than cow’s milk.

Previously, the buffalo’s milk was at the top for its health benefits until it was replaced by the cockroach’s milk.

It may be a dream of the environment since cows burp gases into the environment while for almonds there are needed tons of water.

Can We Use Such Type of Milk? Shall We?

According to Ramaswamy, it can be potentially used in protein-rich drinks, but even it is hard to accomplish that. What’s the problem then? It is due to the cockroach’s lack of nipples. If there are no nipples, how would you milk a cockroach?

In terms of beverages it would have to come from yeast, another problem too. It should be a bio-engineered yeast, an already used one in the food industry. It is still unknown whether the crystals contain some toxins, harmful to humans. By now, only a single person has tasted this milk from an open Pacific cockroach as a punishment for losing at a party.

Nowadays, it is still being worked on the genes of this type of cockroach so there should be more information in the future.
