Onion VS Pineapple?
What is the #1 Anti-inflammatory Food?
A simple oil stain can make any piece of clothing useless. Even the most caring people have been in a situation where a small (or big) amount of oil lands on their clothes while they are cooking or eating. At this moment people usually try to assess the damage and they are trying to do everything they can to remove the stain.
In most cases, people rely on commercial stain removers, but there are situations where these products are ineffective. The good news is that there is a DIY approach that can help you eliminate even the worst stains.
With this simple and quick procedure, you can say goodbye to the stain in a short time.
Here’s what you’ll need:WD-40Liquid dish soapA toothbrushHair BuddhaQ-tipsA piece of cardboard.
To start with, place the piece of cardboard inside the shirt separating the back and front of the shirt so you won’t affect the side that is clean. Use WD-40 to spray the problematic area and scrub it with a Q-tip.
Put some baking soda on the stain. Use a generous amount of baking soda. The oil needs a lot of baking soda to be absorbed.
With the help of the toothbrush scrub the baking soda. You should keep scrubbing till you notice the emergence of clumps.
After that, you should add the liquid dish soap. Put some of it on the area treated with baking soda and use the toothbrush again. You can use a rag at this point because the baking soda will become sticky.
So, keep scrubbing for a while!
And that’s it! Remove the piece of cardboard and put the shirt in the washing machine together with the rest of your clothes.
When the washing is finished, you should have a perfectly clean shirt. In case there are still some signs of staining, perform the procedure again. We encourage you to share this trick with your family and friends because it can be very useful!
