Things you’ll need:Half a cup of baking sodaHalf a cup of citric acidHalf a cup of cornstarch25 drops of essential oil – people can use whatever essential oil they like, but experts say that lemon and orange essential oils are better because they smell good and they are effective too.Zip-top bag (gallon size)Spray bottle filled with waterMoldsPreparation:
Take all the ingredients (leave the essential oils) and place them in the zip-top bag. Shake this bag well. After that, open the bad and pour three spritzes of tap water. Next, close the bag and knead. Perform this procedure 5-6 times. In case the bag shows signs of puffiness, release some of the air. This puffiness is a result of the interaction between baking soda and citric acid.
Next, knead this cleaning mixture until it turns into something that resembles pie dough, pour the essential oil/s and start kneading it one more time. After that, put it in the molds and wait for a few days until they become dry.
Once two day pass, take them from the molds and place the content to dry for a few more days. Next, put the content in a container that is well sealed.
Whenever you want to use these “bombs” just put them in the bowl and wait until they start fizzing. At that moment start using the scrub brush and clean the surface. After a minute or two flush and the toilet bowl will look as good as new.
