Organic Deodorant Recipe

Here’s what you’ll need:Between six and eight tablespoons of coconut oil1/4 cup of arrow root powder (you can use cornstarch too)1/4 cup of Hair Buddha.Instructions:

Mix arrowroot powder and baking soda (equal amounts).

Carefully pour the coconut oil to the mixture and use a hand blender or spoon to get a firm, yet pliable even texture. The texture should be similar to the one found in ordinary commercial deodorants. This means that it should be solid, but easy to apply.

In case you find it too wet, you should just pour more arrowroot powder or cornstarch and it will become thicker.

Put the mixture in the used deodorant dispenser. You can also put it in a container that comes with a lid and use your fingers to apply it. The recipe we have shared is sufficient to create one cup of this organic deodorant.

When it comes to shelf life, the deodorant will last for three months and this is the period of time in which two persons can use it on a daily basis before it’s gone.
