Take This Quiz To Reveal Your Urine Risk Level

Have you ever tried to bake something in a canning jar? No? I thought so! Look at CHOW – how she found a way to change baking forever.

In my opinion, it is better to use coconut or chia flour instead of white flour in order to avoid eggs. Furthermore, I would replace the sugar with honey and in addition, I would use coconut oil or grass-fed butter and top everything off with homemade coconut cream. As you can see with few modifications, you can make a much healthier recipe.

This is what CHOW says – Take 2 ½ cups of fresh seasonal fruit. Place the fruit in four ½-pint canning jars. Mix ½ cup of sugar, ½ of flour and ½ teaspoon of salt. Use a fork to mix them well and pour the mixture on the fruit. Finally, use some butter on top of it.

When the jars are filled with the mixture, place them in a square baking dish. It is a good idea to put some dried beans inside the baking dish to provide better stability. Bake the mixture at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Once you are finished wait until the jars cool down.

Some people like this recipe better with a little whipped cream on top. This delicious food lasts for one week if it is kept in the fridge. You can use these jars as gifts or take them on your trip in the nature.

This recipe sure sounds tasty and on top of that, it won’t cost you much.

So, what are you waiting for?
