To prepare this powerful remedy, you need 1 gram of decarboxylate marijuana for each ounce of virgin coconut oil. In a glass jar, put the crushed marijuana and pour the coconut oil. Seal the jar well, and place it in a pan filled with water. Heat the water gradually, but don’t let it boil for an hour. This will prevent overheating the oil.
Then, strain the mixture using a strainer, or cheesecloth, to eliminate any solid particles. Squeeze the juice from the marijuana well.
Once you do this, your cannabis coconut oil is ready. You can consume it like that or in combination with other foods, or use it as a lotion. You can even cook with this oil, keeping a temperature below the boiling point of marijuana, which is 315 F. The reason for this is because marijuana loses all of its health benefits on higher temperature.
